I’ve been working so hard these days. Just trying to get everything together for the waffle shop, getting Parker to “half of his practices and races”, running an art gallery, board meetings, civic duties, producing a music show we are calling Brewers Sessions, and running the great Brewers Cafe. Shout out to the community partners, and small businesses that i’ve been lucky to work with.
Super thankful to be connected to Stay RVA. A group of parents that are committed to supporting and attending RPS. I will be the Blackwell Elementary School PTA president in 2019.
Thriving Cities. This group means so much to me. Super excited to see what happens to the Southside in 20 years because of the work we are doing now. (sorry for missing so many meetings).
Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union. The history of this credit union is so rich and deep. I want to encourage you all to open an account here and to conduct some matter of business with us.
One time for Parkers Candy Stand and my son’s partnership with Pello Bikes. Really happy for the bonds that we have formed at Richmond BMX, shout out to Bud. And shouts out to Little Nomad too. You can get the shirt that we are wearing by clicking here. Thank you to everyone that supports him.
I sure don’t feel like I’m doing anything more than what I should be doing these days.
“Man, I really don’t like these type of popularity contests.” That’s what I told a very stylish friend of mine when I heard that I was nominated. But she encouraged me to view it from the perspective of the poor kid in Southside. Imagine what he/she will be able to dream about if they see what you are doing.
I am humbled by the recognition. And proud to represent South Richmond. Thank you to all of the groups listed above. And thank you to style weekly for nominating me as one of Rich Cities Top 40 under 40.
Oh, and we are opening a Brewers Cafe inside of www.themarketat25th.com spring 2019.
Ajay Brewer, Southside Superstar.
